Hoooo yes. An art store is huge on my list. When I asked if there was one within walking distance of my office in the pioneer building someone actually suggested I walk all the way down 1st ave south to Daniel Smith. Um, no.
Yes, that would make a nice addition to the neighborhood. I’m going to try to do a summarization of suggestions from folks each month and see what pops over time. So far, the bus stops, parking, and safety (police presence) are the big ones. But I loved this woman’s comment and how her face just broke up when she suggested it. Almost like it was as guilty a pleasure as some of the other places down here. 😉
