Need more brunch places “I grew up here and there used to be places you could come on the weekends and hang out during the day–like the Elliott Bay Bookstore. Now, there are like ten rug places. We need some places to come hang on the weekends in the afternoon, more brunch places.”
Strumming Through “I just travel through Pioneer Square. I’m an international student studying guitar. I hope to continue studies in California.”
It’s safe “I’m homeless and Pioneer Square is the safest place for me. I sleep in the door wells over there. It’s quiet. ‘Not like Belltown where all the crackheads are. They’ll wait till you go to sleep and take you for everything you’ve got.”
New Business Destination “There’s a lot happening in Pioneer Square. Lots of new businesses and restaraunts-place to go. New development.”
Lots Happening “Lots happening around here, a lot of new development and interest.” My apologies to this nice gal, I should have taken a second shot. She had great eyes. Maybe I’ll come across her again.
